A Sunday Table in November

I love this month of giving thanks!

Here is our first Sunday table of November.
{I love the chalkboard quote that I found on Pinterest.}
--
"Inhale love,
Exhale gratitude."

Simple centerpiece.
{Still looking for a huge thrifted turkey -- a turkey tureen would be the jackpot!}

White scollop dishes -- Nicole Miller
Turkey bowls -- Celebration by Spode

The chairback pockets are from Pottery Barn [many moons ago].
A place to tuck notes {and things we are thankful for}
during the month of November.

 I was looking through some of my photos trying to find
any November tables set in 2013, and I couldn't find any.
I thought it was so strange that I didn't have photos,
or blog posts, or memory of any tables.
Then I remembered I broke my foot last November,
and not much happened the entire month!
{I probably never set the table at all!}

Anyhow, after reliving that memory,
today I am feeling especially thankful for health and healing!
The two collages below are from tables set in November 2012 before
I started keeping track of my tables at A Sunday Table.

Shades of oatmeal and my favorite pastel turkey dishes...

  1. What a pretty table! Love the Nicole Miller soup bowls. I can imagine having a broken foot last year definitely put a damper on your getting things done. Your previous tablescapes were lovely too!

  3. Popped over here from BNOTP and was delighted to find dishes with turkeys, a favorite of mine. Then I read about your broken foot and was immediately encouraged since I broke my wrist last week! My son & DIL are going to host Thanksgiving, thankfully :)

  4. Hi there! My friend, Liz from Infuse with Liz, recommended that I pop over and see your creation. I missed it on BNOTP this week. This is my first visit to your blog.

    I agree with Liz...having a broken bone around the holidays in no fun! Sorry that happened to you. I hope you will be in fine decorating and entertaining form for this 2014 Thanksgiving holiday.

    First I want to say how much I like the honey color of your dining set. Very pretty! Your bountiful centerpiece is perfect for the season, and it looks great with the place settings you've assembled. FABULOUS turkey bowls!!! Spode just doesn't know how to do anything wrong, do they??? :-) The gingham napkin you paired with the setting is p-e-r-f-e-c-t!!!

    I enjoyed this post and looked at a couple of others. You have very nice taste! I hope you and your family enjoy a safe, joyous, and loving Thanksgiving.
