Simple Autumn Table

Base for each table setting was this fun little pumpkin charger from Pier 1 (2018).

The place card is a combination of vintage silver, pearl acorns, and tags.

Simple table.

Love fresh flowers in the fall -- especially Delilahs.

Back-To-School Theme & Dinner

Our outdoor back-to-school dinner 2018.

We loved the 'Won't You Be My Neighbor' movie.
Mr. Rogers inspired our back-to-school theme this year.

Be Kind.

Sunflowers and lots of little bee items -- 'bee' kind.

Items used:
Pier One --  gingham napkins (2018)  and sunflower placemats (several years ago)
Bee items - local neighborhood grocery store and items collected over the years.
Neiman Marcus - Wallace Napoleon Bee
TJ Maxx - Cynthia Rowley plates
Tuesday Morning - glassware
Flowers - backyard & local flower market

Each child picks a word for the school year.
We had chicken, rice & veggies.
Dessert was various kinds of ice cream -- specifically honeycomb.

4th of July

Happy 4th of July!
Not table related, but by window boxes are suffering in this heat!
I'm trying sooooo hard to keep my flowers blooming.
(It isn't an easy task!)

Our community has a fun week of celebrating leading up to the 4th.
Hot air balloons for 2-3 days -- we love going out and seeing the sky filled with them.

This was our dinner table...slightly similar to the brunch table.

This is our table setting for our 4th breakfast.

I love the 4th of July,
and our community knows how to celebrate!

Kate Spade diner themed plates are perfect for a breakfast.

Spring Tables

One of our spring tables from last year.
{It is a little difficult to think about spring with snow outside.}

Our Palm Sunday centerpiece.
Hoping the weather warms up this week in time for Easter!

February Recap

We hosted a brunch for a school Sweetheart dance.
Crêpes and fruit salad.

We had our family Mardi Gras dinner with everyone that was home.
{We made our traditional king cake again this year, and it was delicious!}

The most fun was welcoming home our new puppy Missi on Valentine's Day.
She was the reason behind our impulse puppy plate purchase!
I think we'll use them to celebrate her each year!
She was born on December 20th and is such a joy (and a lot of hard work)!

Family Sweetheart Dinner 2018

My cute teen folded the napkins this year -- alternating red and pink.

These fun 'love is in the air' plates are from Pier One.

The velvet candy boxes are from my favorite local antique stop.

I love old candy boxes...espeically with graphics.
{The box on the backside of the table has a victorian couple embossed on it.}

Prepping for Family Valentine's Dinner

Our family Valentine's Dinner from a few years back.
{We usually have this meal the Sunday before Valentine's Day.
It just depends on what our couple/family plans are for the evening.}

Our 2017 Family Dinner.

I love this napkin fold for Valentine's Day.
This was our table a couple of years ago.
